William Marrion Branham (Brother Branham) was born April, 1909, Burksville, Kentucky. At his birth a mysterious Light appeared in the room and hoovered over the new mother and child. This Light was the same Light that led the children of Israel in the desert. At seven years old he saw a whirlwind in a tree, as he watched suddenly a voice spoke from the tree saying ''Don't ever drink, or smoke, or defile your body in any way. There will be work for you to do when you get older.'' While he was baptising the seventh candidate on the banks of Ohio River a Voice came that shook all around the place. The voice said ''As John the Baptist, was sent to forerun the first coming of Chris, the Message that is given you will be a forerunning of the second coming of Christ.''
